In addition, Selma Lagerlöf’s famous novel ‘The Story of Gösta Berling’ comes to life here. The ‘Ekeby’ of her book is synonymous with Rottneros Manor and its park. The book’s ‘Lake Löven’ is in reality the glittering Lake Fryken near by.

Rottneros Park opens the 23rd of May
News in Rottneros Park for this year is a NEW Ideagarden where you can find inspiration and ideas for your own garden. This Ideagarden opens the 13th of June, at the same time as the Gardenfestival the 13th-14th of June 2009. It will be a great weekend for all who are interested in gardens, with workshops and lectures. There will also be entertainment and exciting guests.
